Last season Gundam fans all over rejoiced over the first season of Gundam 00. While still primarily a giant robot show, this series focus a lot more on the pilots and their reasons for being Gundam pilots. Although there is still that evil organization lurking in the corner that drives them. The Japanese site for 00 has been updated for season two giving the premise for the next season and updated character info in aftermath of the first season’s finale.
Bandai Entertainment Inc. has announced that it has licensed and will be airing Gundam 00 on the Sci-Fi channels Ani-Monday block this November. It has also launched an English official site. Gundam 00 will air two episodes each week for a thirteen week run. Also released are the names of the voice actors to be the Gundam Meisters.
Brad Swaile will appraise the role of Setsuna. Brad is a well known actor who has done many prominent roles such as Rock from Black Lagoon, Light from Death note, and Amuro Ray from the original Mobile Suit Gundam series. Alex Zahara will be playing Lockon Stratos. Alex is primarily known as a TV actor most notably on Stargate sg-1, having played nine different characters. Richard Ian Cox will take on his role as Allelujah Haptism. He is most notable as InuYasha. And rounding out the Gundam Meisters is Samuel Vincent. He also voiced Athrun Zala in Gundam Seed.
