Yes it is true, a Live-Action adaptation of the Anime cult classic Cowboy Bebop is currently in “early” development. In the producers chair is Erwin Stoff of the Matrix and A Scanner Darkly. Stoff plans on making the film with a “real degree of faithfulness” to its Anime origins. With no more information as of yet, it’s all still up for grabs. Only time will tell what will become of this.
