  1. Red, if you claim to love yandares, you have to pronounce yandare. Repeat after me: YAN-DA-RE.

    The Japanese pronounce cake “cakey,” so I think the word “eureka” is not really pronounced only as Japan does in the anime. Do you pronounce cake “cakey” because anime characters do?

  2. YotaruVegeta, “Eureka” is pronounced in a non-standard fashion in the Eureka Seven dub too. With both sub and dub not adhering to the typical pronunciation of the word, there’s not much basis to insist that it’s said the way it looks.

  3. I guess the dubbers figured that pronouncing Eureka more like a name than an exclamation made sense.
