Episode 529: Fall 2017 Previews #2

Our longest show yet! Holy crap let’s not do this again. Anyways, we do a whole lot of ranting about Fire Emblem character pairings this episode. Oh, and we talk about some forum discussions that Andrew worked on. That’s right, the discussion questions are back! Sort of… we only have one guy responding to questions right now, but hey, it’s a start! In the news side of things we talk about the results of Japan and America’s first official mech battle, and a small story about one mans thoughts on an otaku couple during the newest Fate/stay movie. And lastly are the previews, of which we have four more. Joseph has a comedy about a budding relationship between a high school couple, as well as the newest season of foodgasms. Andrew on the other hand talk about marrying a big cow skull dude, and a very interesting story about the latest attempt at a new Bleach/Naruto.

  1. I should point out as Joeseph correctly guessed, I am indeed male. If there is any doubt of that, along with any doubts of my Scottish origins, I will point out that I have submitted listeners reviews to your sister show, Video Game Pulse, before where you can hear me lol.

  2. If the moe/ “cute girls doing cute things” trend was traced back to Azumanga Daioh, I would be very sad about that, because Azumanga is so damn funny. When I think of cute girls doing cute things, I think of shows that are way more cute than they are funny.

I still haven’t watched Lucky Star, but I guess I should sit down with it one day

  3. I disagree with Andrew on One Piece. There are definitely episodes where One Piece looks has dirt poor quality, but I’m one episode to being caught up, and I didn’t feel underwhelmed by the fight that happened involving Luffy and Sanji.
