Episode 550: Kuroko no Noraneko Heart

Happy Saint Patrick’s day everyone! And you know what that means? Drinking of course! Not that it’s any different from how Joseph and Andrew work a normal episode, but at least there’s more of a reason this time. IRL news hits us with Joseph finishing Mass Effect: Andromeda, and Andrew quickly jumps into the forum topic and front page comments. Industry news hits us with an explanation for why we hear noise in a vacuum like space, and the announcement of a new season of the Ace Attorney anime. And finally are the reviews, where Andrew plays basketball and Joseph neuters a cat.

  1. I should be the one apologizing for the lengthy community segment since I’m the one who kicked off that entire monolith of a discussion. Seemingly for little reason as me and Joey’s views seem to line up more than I thought from what he said before. I just interpreted Joey’s “I would never hit a girl” as extending some sort of mercy towards girls that he wouldn’t extend to a guy, which is what triggered me in the first place.

Oh well, it was fun either way. I enjoy a good discussion.
And yes, I do in fact enjoy hearing my comments read by your illustrous selves. Live responses are a lot of fun. So I wanna extend a question to Joey: Does Keoukai no Rinne have the same kinda old-fashioned feel that most of Takahashi’s work seem to have in term of relationship and gender dynamics. Just kinda curious if she ever managed to break out of her old tropes or if she’s still the same old timey lady as always.

    1. Not at all, there were discussions on quite a range from Hajimete no Gal, to WatchMojo as well. The reason I apologise is because I could have better prepared before the show started so that things could have been summed up and delivered more efficiently. So yeah as a commenter you don’t need to apologise or take responsibility. 😀

I’d say there was reason though, without the discussion we would not have gotten clarification from Joey on the matter and I learned a good amount from that as well.

      Thanks for your continued interaction.

      Sincerely,
      Chandrew
