The game you mention 46 minutes in, sounds a lot like the mechanics from „Paradroid“. A cult classic on the Commodore 64 and also good on Amiga/ST/Archimedes as Paradroid 90/2000.
-There exist several fan-made remakes for modern PCs https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paradroid .
