Re: VGP 349 Discussion Topic: Favorite Quarantine Games!

Hmm... I don't really have any quarantine games but during the PSN blackout I played the FUCK out of borderlands. Now, I'm playing catch up on games that should be quick to beat/plat for me to clear out my queue. Right now in going through ghostbusters remastered and will follow up with persona 5, c...

Re: VGP 347 Discussion Topic: Achievement Pride!

Now, while I am proud of my recent runs on RE2 and getting S ranks, my most proudest achievement in gaming goes a bit further back. My completion of the original Ninja Gaiden on the NES will be one my proudest gaming achievements. FUCK you Tecmo and your level 6 stages multi boss battles.

Re: VGP 345 Discussion Topic: Partners and Sidekicks!

I've struggled with the answer to this question, contemplating between Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite and Tails from the Sonic franchise. Ultimately, I decided to go with that perky two tailed fox. Why? That kid has one thing that most other people don't. Eternal life. This kid knows the risks and...

Re: VGP 343 Discussion Topic: Stadia!

First off, welcome back Link!!! And as far as Online only distribution for games, I don't see thar happening. Steam and GOG make a lot of money sure, but physical will ALWAYS be important what with games being removed from store fronts like some of marvel capcom fighters, ducktales, scott pilgrim, a...

Re: VGP 341 Discussion Topic: Atmosphere!

Yotaru has got the right idea, and I'm gonna extrapolate on it. I gotta go with the save rooms from the RE games 1-4 and Code Veronica. Back when the games had more tension, danger, horror, and most importantly, a safe space. Each of the save rooms allowed for a moment of relief, a time to catch you...

Mine is actually a boss fight. Mysterio from Spider-Man 2 on PS2, Xbox, and GC.
Here's the "fight" in all its glory.

Re: VGP 337 Discussion Topic: Scariest Enemy In A Game!

Scariest enemy? That's hard to say. On one hand I wanna say most recently, Mr. X from the RE2 remake. The dude will follow into almost ANY room in the game. Inside, outside, in the NEST near the endgame, and even as the facility is blowing up. On the other hand, there are thematic stuff on the Silen...

Re: VGP 335 Discussion Topic: Forgiving A Buggy Launch?

Yes. No game is perfect at launch date these days nor were they in the past. We're in a great point in time where features, modes, and content can be added by the developer or by the fan community through mods. If there is an homest attempt at fixing the game, I'll gladly give it another shot. But i...

Yeah, it's gone through a few changes. Sadly all the forum discussion questions and our "colorful" responses are all gone. :(
Still, we're sticking around for the love of the show :)
