Considering that every show this season has finally started airing or is a long running series, here are my thoughts for how this season is looking up to be.

Ahiru no Sora
It is still going strong as a pretty decent basketball anime with strong characters and a good amount of drama. Thankfully, it is not a crazy sports show like Kuroko no basket so it is very watchable for a much larger audience, even for those who don’t necessarily look for sports shows.

Appare-Ranman!
The concept of the show is great on paper. A car race reminiscent to the old Hannah Barbara race with quirky characters seemed like a great idea. Unfortunately, the main characters are just bad. The titular Appare is an aloof genius character with no charisma and has no chemistry with any of the other characters, leading him to look like a jerk without a care. His partner Kosame has no backbone to stand up to him and acts more like a Chihuahua barking at everything and backing off pretty quickly. A show is only as strong as the characters allow it to be and these two make it just unwatchable. Do not recommend.

Bessatsu Olympia Kyklos
As a lover of history, I love this show. I definitely do not recommend it to anyone because of its animation style and the fact that the comedy is extremely subjective. You need only watch one episode to decide whether it would work for you and luckily it is a short so it would only take about 3 minutes to get through it but I like weird things like this so it works for me.

Deca-Dence
This is a show that is very surprising it wasn’t made by Trigger. If you liked Darling in the Franxx, than you will most likely enjoy it. Without spoiling anything, the show has two sides to it that the main heroine is unaware of and her mentor struggles with what to do with her when he learns a secret she herself is unaware of. Even if you didn’t like Darling in the Franxx, I would still recommend giving it a watch and see if the mystery behind the show interests you.

Diary of our Days at the Breakwater
A great little slice of life from Dogo Kobo. Highly recommend if all you want is a chill, funny show.

Digimon Adventure
It’s the OG team back in a completely new canon. If you have nostalgia for the old Digimon or are just interested in getting to know the characters, I would highly recommend give it look. The art style is miles ahead of the old show and as someone that enjoyed watching the original, I am interested in seeing how the new story will turn out.

Dokyuu Hentai HxEros
An ecchi lives or dies by its ecchi. This show has the unfortunate luck of having really annoying censoring. It would not be so bad if it was just some mist censors, showdown censors, or just good old divine light censors. The whole giant star censors is very annoying and takes away from what this show is supposed to offer. If you can’t commit to the ecchi, do not even try. As a lover of ecchi, I find it hard to recommend.

Fire Force season 2
It’s more Fire Force. If you enjoyed Season 1, you are of course going to enjoy season 2. It starts with what seems to be filler but if you remember how heavy the end to season 1 was, realize that this is a necessary breather for the characters before getting back into the main story and mystery an episode later. If you have not seen season 1, I would highly recommend watching it.

Fruits Basket 2nd Season
Continuing the story of Touru Honda and her daily life with the Soma family as she, in her own innocent and best girl ways, attempts to heal each of the broken embers of the soma family. Akito can go die in a fire. Highly recommended.
Fugou Keiji: Balance:UNLIMITED
As someone who was raised poor, this show is an insult to my very existence. Mind you, the show is pretty popular and was hyped up when it started back in Spring and had to stop due to the circumstances. I do not like the main character, not even a little bit. Having a rich asshole not give a crap about the pathetic poor just because he is rich enough to pay for any damages as he “solves” cases to alleviate his boredom makes me mad. Its popular and I know my views are very biased so you may actually like it, but I personally do not care about it.

Gibiate
Right off the bat, let me just say that I cannot begin to express the sheer irony of this. A show about a deadly novel disease wiping out so many people had its planned premier (at AX) canceled by a deadly novel disease that has already killed so many people. I am getting serious kuromukuro vibes, minus the comedy. Not a very exciting first episode but lets see what more it has to give

Great Pretender
A great show about charismatic con artist screwing over rich assholes. Highly recommend.

Hachigatsu no Cinderella Nine Re:fine
I do not recommended this show. I continue to watch it just to laugh at just how hilariously bad this show is. The off modeling and bad animation really makes one wonder how little money and care went into making it.

Koi to Producer: EVOL×LOVE
I find it so weird for MAPPA of all people to be doing an otome title. Being the fact that it is MAPPA, I am keeping my eye on it because it might just turn out into something interesting but I am still skeptical since most otome shows tend to bomb hard and MAPPA has let me down hard before.

Lapis Re:LiGHTs
You would think that a show from a multimedia project based around magical school girl idols would be pretty interesting and if you watched episode 1, you would be right. Unfortunately episode 2 had an absolutely awful CG dance scene and the dumb blonde character got really annoying really quick. I hope it picks back up but I hesitate to recommend.

Monster Girl Doctor
You know what you are getting into if you watch this so have fun. I am.

The Misfit of Demon King Academy
I love this show because it does something a lot of other shows fail at doing: writing a good OP character. Our main protagonist is strong, knows it, and will make sure the world also learn. Being a Demon Lord, he can be cruel and sadistic, but beingwhat looks like to be a future harem protagonist, is also nice, fair, and very charismatic. I highly recommend.

Ninja Collection
I do not recommend. Yet. The show has a style similar to Kagewani but unlike that show, it has yet to become anything interesting. This might change and become another hit like Kagewani, but we will have to see.

No Guns Life 2nd Season
Like season 1? You will like season2. Picking right back up fom last season, our main charecters are still dealing with an evil company and now an evil anti extended organization. Fotr those who have not seen season 1 yet, the show is a slightly gritty story about a PI with a gun for a head in a technological advanced but war ravaged world with a lot mysteries for our main protagonist to solve and action to take.
Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time
Again, if you are going to watch it you already know what you are getting into. This time however, I would suggest waiting a few hours the uncensored version to pop up each week on “other sites” because otherwise there would be little point to watching this ecchi tile. According to some sources, HiDive is trying to license the uncensored version so there is hope to see the good version legally.

Re:Zero Season 2
Picking right back up from a great drama isekai, I would highly recommend everyone who hasn’t seen season 1 to go back and watch the director’s cut on Crunchyroll and VRV and catch up to watch this season.

Rent-a-Girlfriend
So far so good. For some reason I get some serious Love Hina vibes. To be honest though, the show scares me a bit. NTR is my one weakness and I am hoping super hard that if and when we get to such a scene, that it doesn't hit it too hard. I also don’t like the design of the main character; his looks annoy me. Either way, I do still recommend it for having some good someday and what looks like to be a well-rounded cast of loveable girls.

Shokugeki no Souma Season 5
If you already seen the last 4, there really isn’t anything for me to say since you know aht you are getting.

Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld Part 2
Coming out of the best writing Reki Kawahara has done for the series, season 2 picks right back from the middle of the war (season 1 stopped at a terrible midpoint) we continue our story as the teams comes in to save the day. If you have not seen Part one, I highly recommend you do for it is the best the title has ever had, giving us new characters that are well developed and a story you want to see the end to.

The God of High School
Theres the MAPPA I know. Adapting a pretty popular webtoon comic, this martial arts show promises to bring a new and exciting story unique to a Korean author. I personally don’t read the webtoon but I can recommend it just based on what little has been adapted so far. My only complaint thou, I hate the red noses. This was something the original author did in the webtoon as well and it looked bad there too.

Toaru Kagaku no Railgun T
Adapting one of the most exiciting parts of the light novels, this season is one any Index fan would love to watch.

Umayon
If you like umamusume, here is an extra little short to top it off.

Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai!
Highly recommend this one. IT is funny with some of the best banter between two characters you are goanna get.

My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Climax
If you are a fan, you definitely do not want to miss out on this. If you have not seen the series, I highly recommend going to Crunchyroll or VRV and watching this series for having some of the best written characters who they and their relationships grow over time and lead to a highly anticipated climax.

Baki
I love this show. It's bloody and actiony. You don't need to know the story so well to enjoy senseless violence. This is coming from someone who never saw the original series

Japan Sink
Episode 1 was a very good start but soon after it quickly started to feel more and more like the walking dead in fast forward, making really hard to take it seriously. There were so many random events that just felt forced to have some drama. The situations got so random at times, I had to check to see if Mari Okada was somehow involved
