So with the Death Note Netflix released and other Western anime adapations on the way are there any you are looking forward to or dreading? How about any series you want to get adapted? What needs to happen before we get one that is universally liked?

Well, for starters, Hollywood needs to stop with the whitewashing problem (I know, here we go!). For a second thing, any adaptation needs to either stay true to the source material or modify the story to work better in another medium and not try to straddle the two areas and then satisfy neither. Thirdly, don't just stick big name actors in because they are big name actors. Get ones who can act out the role well.
