80 Percent of Mass Shooters Showed No Interest in Video Games, Researcher Says

Of course, this will be ignored the next time the media gets a viewership boost on the corpses of innocent people.
You would think this would be brought up but nothing not even a shred of info about this.
And it never will be because that would take away from the seemingly anti-games agenda the media wishes to push. As they say, "Never let the truth get in the way of a good story".

First off wow the replys took time to scroll down on mobile, now for the topic at hand politicians need a scape goat so they don't have to address the actual issues and "viloent videgames" worked in the past why change something that works? Tell a lie enough it becomes truth.

I wonder how quick they were to gloss it over or how the president just refused to even look into it. Wish the post gave more detail.

Story? If you can even call the 3 minuets of straight bashing without context or facts even a story.

That's what most mass media consider "Hard, truthful journalism" these days. You'd be lucky if you have them do 1 minute of searching hashtags on Twitter. :P

At least newspapers are still doing detailed post so we have that. If anyone bothers to pick one up.

At the risk of turning this into a back and forth, it depends on the newspaper and what country you are in. I don't know what it's like in the states, but in the UK, a lot of the papers don't really do any thing other than repeat half-truths and outright lies in the hope of gaining the sales off the pearl clutchers and easily angered. It's very much like the Simpson's "Angry Man Yells At Cloud" level of journalism.
