If you could have one video game character as a regular presence in your life (as a friend, foe, or otherwise) for the rest of your life, who would you pick and why?

i would take a mougle from final fantasy just because i have stuff to fix around the house and they seem like they handy type

Piccolo! It would start off rocky at first, but we'd become allies, and he'd have my back in any kind of conflict. He's not a huge talker, so I'm not going to be bothered by him; I think if I picked Krillin, he'd be a little too chatty.

Also, if I wanna, you know, skip out on that whole fatherhood thing, he'll take care of that as well.

Dogmeat and his various descendents from the Fallout series. Because why not have a dog who can help fight enemies and find items?
