Are there any anime that you watched all the way to the end simply because of how bad it was? Do tell as well as what kept you going:

Too many to list. Even when I consider that I will bail on a series if it proves bad. But a couple come to mind.

Sword Art Online's second season, the Alfheim Online arc, held a lot of promise, but when they nerfed Asuna and made her just another princess in distress, it did not bode well. And when the tentacle porn episode coccurred, we almost decided to stop watching altogether, but it was close to the end of the season, so we persisted.

Inoue-sama has already mentioned Conception, which I cannot believe I too watched to the end.

When I started watching School days I thought it was stupid, but kept me interested to see where it was going. Then when it climaxed boom! a boat. WTF? Then I saw the real ending, and now I miss the boat ending.

School days was my most hated anime until I watched Glasslip. Man I hate hate Glasslip. You thought School Days was bad? Oh then you've been spared my friend. Glasslip was my introduction to anime where nothing happens.It was generic af and nothing really happened. It was my 2nd season back to anime and I didn't know better.

Finally, Darling in the FranXX was a classic "pretty good anime with a stupid ending".
