A former gymnast, Aikawa Maki has turned her skills to a different way of life - street fighting. The only thing that truly makes her feel alive is violence. With amazing power and grace, she fights opponent after opponent, repeatedly demonstrating the gymnastic talent that earns her her nom de guerre, "Airmaster".

This series ran from 2003 to 2004 in Japan and was 27 episodes long. Unfortunately, you can only find the first half of it on dvd here in the U.S. since Toei cancelled the releases of the series after the first few volumes. Luckily, AnimeONE, HQA, and N! have subbed it. I don't have a link to their sites (If someone could provide them, I'd gladly edit this post with said links); However, I do have a link to the whole series on veoh.

A few episodes aren't subbed in English, but when the main attraction of the show is seeing people kick the shit out of each other, I don't think subtitles are neccessary. Also, be warned that this isn't a show for people who can't stand an "ugly" art style.
So far, I'm only up to episode 16, but the fights in this show are so satisfying and they somehow continue to get progressively better with every single episode. So, I'm encouraged to speed through this show just to see the creative ways in which people can get their asses handed to them. _________________
