Hey there guys,
a while back I saw a friend of mine using a program that translated words he entered into web forms into Kanji. I would like to use that program. The problem is I have no idea what it is called or even what kind of software it was (Firefox plugin, desktop application, etc.). That I don't have much contact to him anymore isn't helping either, but if I see him I will ask him directly.
I just thought maybe you guys could help me out. Anyone got a clue? _________________

Windows has a Japanese language pack that lets you type romanji or kana and then can convert to kanji by pressing space.
Control Panel/Regional and Language Options/Languages/check "Install files for East Asian languages"
then
Control Panel/Regional and Language Options/Languages/Details
Click "Add", choose "Japanese".
Then after a restart you can get a language bar that you can use to toggle between English and Japanese input.
That's for XP, but is different in Vista.
Thanks,
