View Trailer: http://juiz.jp/special/
| Quote: | November 22, 2010. Monday.
Ten missiles hit the territory of Japan.
However, this unprecedented terrorist act, later to be known as "Careless Monday" apparently did not cause any victim, and was soon forgotten by almost everyone.
Then, 3 months later...
Saki Morimi is a young woman currently in the United States of America on her graduation trip. But just when she is in front of the White House, Washington DC, se gets into troubles, and only the unexpected intervention of one of her fellow countrymen saves her day.
However, this man, who introduces himself as Akira Takizawa, is a complete mystery.
First of all, he appears to have lost his memory.
Secondly, he is stark naked, except for the gun he holds in one hand, and the mobile phone he's grabbing with the other hand. A phone that is charged with 8,200,000,000 yen in digital cash.
Who is Akira Takizawa?
What are the secrets behind his extraordinary mobile phone?
What got lost with his vanished memory? |
source: Production I.G.
Just saw the 1st episode (RAW), really looks interesting.
Production quality is very good.
PS: The OP is also a bit non-traditional for an anime, its "Falling Down" from the new Oasis album "Dig Out Your Soul".

| After reading some previews about the show and watching the first episode, I can honestly say that I'm stoked and looking forward to seeing the remainder of the series. |

second episode is out and I'm still enjoying it. there are at least 12 agents and it's cool how they're able to use their money for anything. _________________

I forgot to mention this as well. A movie has been announced for Higashi no Eden for release this summer, but it has not been said if this will be a condensed version of the series, or the actual ending of it. If it is the former, it will be a bit of a disappointment having to wait for nearly a year to finally catch the ending. _________________

tell me it's at least scheduled for 26 episodes. it'd suck to only give it 13. _________________

Worse for you, it's only scheduled for 11 episodes, I believe, which making the movie the end of the series make more sense. _________________

Ep. 8 out on TT.
GG.
Lol, I'm having a hard time getting over the discrepancy at the start of the episode. I mean, how did Akira dream of something he never witnessed? Urguu...
Regardless, I enjoyed it as I have all of this series. Disheartening that it is only an 11 episode series, but alas I shall make due I guess.

Probably one of the best series of this anime season.
Off-topic:
I don't know if this was already mentioned in some other part of this forum....

I love the 'Johnny' identification test.
edit: Oh, btw, in the anime the movie 'The Cold Blue' is constantly mentioned or given cameos. It's claimed to be a French movie or something. Does anyone know if it actually exists? _________________ 日本語 |

I've heard many mixed reactions to the first movie. I myself enjoyed it, albeit it did feel like a set-up for the 2nd movie, but then again, since it's very story driven, I'd be disappointed if I wasn't left anxious to see the next one. The animation was a touch better than the series, the story was all there, held me the entire time. I'd say a 4/4, for fans of the series. _________________

If you don't know the series, you won't understand what's going on in the movie.
The movies are basically an extention of the series. Not a movie version of the series. _________________ "Thow shall not kill remember?! What the hell kinda churchman are you anyway?"
