After reading some previews about the show and watching the first episode, I can honestly say that I'm stoked and looking forward to seeing the remainder of the series.

second episode is out and I'm still enjoying it. there are at least 12 agents and it's cool how they're able to use their money for anything.

Episode 3 is out. things are getting good. spoiler below watch the show first.

turns out messiahs are given 10 billion yen to help save the world. when then money runs out the messiahs are terminated.

Lol, I'm having a hard time getting over the discrepancy at the start of the episode. I mean, how did Akira dream of something he never witnessed? Urguu...

Regardless, I enjoyed it as I have all of this series. Disheartening that it is only an 11 episode series, but alas I shall make due I guess.

Oh, and I didn't get the zombie metaphor, ¬ ¬

Probably one of the best series of this anime season.

I don't know if this was already mentioned in some other part of this forum....

I heard its also got GPS.

edit: Oh, btw, in the anime the movie 'The Cold Blue' is constantly mentioned or given cameos. It's claimed to be a French movie or something. Does anyone know if it actually exists?

Another great series has ended... well, its not really the end, there will be 2 films, Eden of The East the Movie I: The King of Eden (November 28, 2009) and Eden of The East the Movie II: Paradise Lost (January 2010).

According to ANN the opening of the 1st Eden of the East movie was moved from November 28 to December 19.

I've heard many mixed reactions to the first movie. I myself enjoyed it, albeit it did feel like a set-up for the 2nd movie, but then again, since it's very story driven, I'd be disappointed if I wasn't left anxious to see the next one. The animation was a touch better than the series, the story was all there, held me the entire time. I'd say a 4/4, for fans of the series.

If you don't know the series, you won't understand what's going on in the movie.

The movies are basically an extention of the series. Not a movie version of the series.
