It's gotta be, for right now, Dimmu Borgir. Their brand of Symphonic Black Metal is just an awesome combination. Just hearing the song Progenies of the Great Apocalypse brings the feeling of an awesome war, and all that great stuff into my head.

Wow, I, I was way into Dimmu back then. (looking at my last post) I've 'outgrown' the really brutal part of metal, at least for now. hehe.

Anyways, my favorite band right now is a real tie between Scar Symmetry and Dir en grey. I've always loved Dir en grey and have got back into them lately after picking up Uroboros. And Scar Symmetry? I haven't been this blown away by a bands talent since I first heard Opeth. It's a shame their singer Christian left though.

Might wanna fix your double post there dragon. Wow I haven't posted in this in forever. I guess it's time for an update. New favorite bands would have to be Within Temptation, IOSYS and East New Sound. Not sure if the last two count as bands but whatev.

(Do I even have to say this?) Hawthorne Heights is my favorite band! Can't get enough of them. Too bad the bassist died Sad I also like Bullet for my Valentine, Sick Puppies and Silverstein.

Right now I would definitely have to say Rush. I've pretty much just been alternating between Permanent Waves, Clockwork Angels, and A Farewell to Kings for the last few weeks. It's bound to change soon enough, but it should be a while as I still plan to procure more of their backlog for my listening pleasure.

Those are some good albums. I remember when I first got into Rush, as I was trying to buy all of their albums I would get two at a time, an earlier one and a later one, until I finally ended in the middle of their career.
