| Personally, I mostly listen to underground and garage rock bands (prominently Canadian). Also, I love Japanese rock (AKFG is one my favorite bands of all time). |

It's cool to see that so many anime fans like the same music, even including american music! There are some bands, like Linkin Park, that are pretty much liked over all of the commenters so far, and it's cool to see! _________________

I don't know what to think about Bad Religion. They sound great, but with me being a religious person, some of their lyrics are a little iffy. |

Well, I don't think their lyrics are too extreme compared to other bands. Greg Graffin, the lead singer and writer of most of the songs, says the band's name refers to any system which prescribes a certain way of thinking, so they aren't specifically anti-religion.
I don't have any religious belief, but I can understand your dilemma. _________________

Personally, I greatly enjoy their new album. They kept some of their own styles when it came to the slower tunes, but songs like Waiting for the End or the Catalyst, really shows their changes and shows they can change for the better. They didn't let their fame and reputation dictate how they write music. In fact their fame and rep tells them that they need to make some newer, original stuff. _________________
