E3 this year kinda sucked. The best part was Ubisofts presentation with Watch Dogs, followed by The Last of Us and Beyond: Two Souls from Sony. The worst was either Nintendo's conference, Microsoft's conference, the Wonderbook or the fact all anyone talked about were sequels and no new IP's.

I liked the assassin's creed demo and the halo one a little.

durr i dont remember this years E3... it was That Amazing, now i could go off and do some research and come up with something but meh not motivated enough. wait i do remember thinking the Beyond Clip they showed was cool but did not showcase the main character like they thought it would.

The problem is that after E32011 which had so many excellent properties, of course E32012 would be considered dismal. I don't like saying any one company "won" or "lost" because this is a trade show, not a popularity contest. It is an overblown show and tell.

With that said, Ubisoft and Sony had press shows that really impressed me, not just because of the properties they showed, but because of their actual presentation. Microsoft and EA were okay but not as stand-out as it was in previous years.

With that said, here are my top 10 games from E3 that I am looking forward to:

10. Ascend: New Gods
9. Tomb Raider
8. Farcry 3
7. Ni No Kuni: Wraith of the White Witch
6. Assassins Creed III
5. Assassins Creed Liberation (might make me get a PS Vita)
4. Watch Dogs
3. Dishonored
2. The Last of Us
1. Beyond: Two Souls

To be honest, nothing really grabbed my attention at this E3... but then again, I wasn't really following it, even with VGP's help. I prefer to let things come as they will. That way, most surprises are pleasant instead of getting sucked into the hype and then disappointed.
