Parodies! Those funny little instances where one anime references another anime, or a game, or something else. They are everywhere, so this weeks question is about them:

What is your one favorite parody from an anime?

My own is probably the Hirugashi Parody from Seitokai no Ichizon.

I know this is quite obscure, but I would say the Kamen Rider poses in Haiyore! Nyaruko-san. That's how I got into watching the series, although it did get wierd after watching too many yuri/yaoi innuendos...in any case Kamen Rider rocks!

For me it has to be the South Park parody in FLCL. One of the many reasons why FLCL tops my list of favorite anime series.

ooh this is a tough one red XD, if I were to pick one parody, I would probably have to go with the racing scene in Hayate no Gotoku where Hayate races Knight Rider.
That scene was fudging hilarious.

My favorite parodies are the ones from Lucky Star when Konata makes fun of Code Geass.

When Hirano from Tantei Opera Milky Holmes Season 2 Episode 18 gets attacked by a facehugger from "Aliens".

Best one I can think of is from the first episode of Super Dimension Fortress Macross, when Hikaru Ichijyo crashes his Valkyrie into the Studio Nue building (Studio Nue being the animation studio that produced the series)

I have got to say the best are from Genshiken seasons one and two. I mean, c'mon, Reass Lude I believe it was. And there was Scram Dunk. Classics in my opinion, though the majority of them are from season two. Check out the opening for more parodies!
