Mac: iBook G3 600 MHz from 2001
Custom installed 80 GB 5400 RPM HDD
640 MB SDRAM
12.1" screen
DVD-ROM Drive
2 USB 1.1 ports
1 Firewire 400 port
Among other things. Google iBook G3 specs or visit everymac.com and look up the iBook G3 600 Mhz
Here're the spec pics I found in another thread:
Functional PC: Dell Dimension L800 CXE 800 MHz Intel Celeron
20 GB HDD
CD-ROM Drive
128 MB RAM
32 MB Intergrated Intel Graphics
Floppy Drive LOL
Two USB 1.1 ports
And all other standard ports on a generic PC. Google the specs for this model.
Nonfunctional PC: Gateway 2000 with a PII 233 MHz with a 4GB HDD and 160 MB RAM. That's all I can remember about it.
I use my iBook laptop and this Dell the most often, though I may set up the 233 as some sort of media server should I decide to get it a wifi card. _________________ Shigeru Miyamoto owns j00 f00!

Heh. I'm slowly working towards getting a MacBook Pro. I'm ~$950 away. I just need to get a job again.. >.> Stupid seasonal job cut me off.. I'll be getting the entry level model for $1,999 (obviously over $2,000 with tax). I so can't wait for that. I assume I'll be using this machine less and less (once I have my beautiful MBP, that is). ^_^ _________________ Shigeru Miyamoto owns j00 f00!

i haven't bought a computer in years, but i think it's finally time... i need a mediabox. Today... hopefully, i'll be purchasing a Shuttle XPC SB86i Spec's i'm getting are...
- intel Pentium 4 641 w/ HT, XD, EM64T, EIST 3.2GHz 2MB 800FSB LGA775
- 1GB RAM (1 stick)
- 250GB HDD
- Sony Dual Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW Combo Drive
- 32" LCD Polaroid HDTV
- 4 USB 2.0 ports
- 2 Firewire ports
- Gigabit Ethernet
- a few SPDIF connections
- lots more... check out the page for more info i guess
Eventually i'll probably be getting a video card with DVI out, a TV tuner card, and another stick o' memory to seal the deal.
And for the OS... linux for some MythTV. Most likely gentoo or some flavor of debian. _________________

Damn! That sounds expensive, especially since you're using a 32" HDTV as its display! That's it! I declare tomorrow night anime night at Ickybod's! _________________ Shigeru Miyamoto owns j00 f00!

Well, you sure seem to be proud of your Core 2 Duo. It's not really that special. Most new computers come with it already. _________________ Shigeru Miyamoto owns j00 f00!

My computer...
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 x2 3800+
GPU: Nvidia Geforce 7900GT 256MB
MoBo: Asus A8N-E
RAM: 1GB (2x512MB) Corsair DDR-400
Sound Card: Audigy 2 ZS
HDD: 320GB Seagate Barracuda & 250GB Western Digital Caviar
External HDD: 200GB Seagate Barracuda w/ Vantec enclosure
PSU: Antec 500W Smart Power
Keyboard: Saitek Eclipse
Mouse: Logitech mx518
Speakers: Logitech X-530
Headphones: Sennheiser HD485
Case: Cooler Master Centurion
Monitors: 19" BenQ LCD and 21" Envision LCD
I threw in the other info because I'm really bored right now. Built my computer about a year ago. I really wish I had gone for 2Gb of RAM and the Audigy X-Fi though. Upgraded my GPU thanks to eVGA's step-up program and I had to replace my PSU because it was making a really annoying hissing noise. _________________
