I'll update this thread with the latest episodes that come out (like faith did with Claymore) and this will also count as the One piece discussion thread.
Fansub: Vegapunk. http://www.vegapunk.com/news.php
EDIT: Just in case anyone was wondering why this thread is so far behind.
I'm one of those who are willing to waiting for Vegapunk to catch up. Yes, yes, I know. Other groups are faster, but, in my opinion, Vegapunk is the best One Piece sub group since Kaizoku started subbing it.
Just because I'm willing to wait for them, this doesn't mean you have to. That is why this thread is also the One piece discussion thread.
So, feel free to talk about the new episodes. As a personal request, I'd like you guys to use spoilers tags for the major stuff.
Thanks,
Shadow.

Update: May 14 (2009)
Over one year has passed since Vegapunk's last release, and now here I am with a much needed update.
For those of you who have been waiting for VP for start releasing again, well, the time has finally come!
As some of you might already know, VP has started releasing "Vanilla" versions of their translations; meaning no fancy colored attacks or opening song. At this point those don't really matter anymore, especially if you've been waiting. So far episode 340 - 370 has been released, with more on the way. According to them, if I understood it right, they should be cough up and releasing weekly again by episode 410. So, about two and a half month, give or take.
Enjoy!

I'll chose quality over quantity any day.
Sounds like a good project Shadow, and maybe, maybe, I'll start watching One Piece, cause it seems I enjoy shows like these..... by that I mean shonen epics. Guess I should get into Bleach then huh? ^ ^ _________________

I actually really like the Ice Hunter arc so far. Could become a second G8 arc if done right, and proving once more that One Piece has by light years superior Filler than any other Shonen Fighting show. _________________

Thanks for managing this thread, Shadow.
I started to marathon One Piece with my wife starting last week. We have gone from 150 to 285. So far we are really loving the series, and it seems to only get better. I intend to keep watching at least 5-10 episodes a night from this point on until we catch up. |

I really liked episode 349, I hope Skeletor or whatever his name is joins their crew, but I have a feeling they're going to kill him off. _________________ 日本語 |

They can get drawn out a little bit...but it's a shonen anime, that's gonna happen. The same thing goes with both Bleach and Naruto. _________________ Being a geek is all about being honest about what you enjoy and not being afraid to demonstrate that affection. The fights? Or the series?
Either way, the place to discuss that is the in Bleach and Naruto threads.
What would be really awesome is if someone could make a list of the filler arcs and what episodes they are. I'd love to get caught up on the series but I'm about 200 episodes behind. So I'd like to skip over the fillers and just get caught up on the actual plot. That way, I can go back and watch the fillers later.
So, who's up for the task? _________________ Being a geek is all about being honest about what you enjoy and not being afraid to demonstrate that affection. I got nothing better to do than copy and paste crap from wikipedia, so allow me.
Episodes 1-45, 48-53, 62-67, 70-130, 144-195, 207-219, 227-325, and everything since 337 have been canon.
Also, I doubt that anyone cares, but I just got a fuckin' awesome One Piece t-shirt in the mail today. That is all. _________________

I use a site called watch-onepiece.com they have all the episodes except as it goes on the quality drops... or you could use animeseed.com or otakucenter.com at least for streaming it _________________ the block is in my head |
