Oh what was it...I think it was in Final Fantasy 5. it was this weird cloaked turtle thing with a lantern. It slowly walked towards you, and when it got close to you, it obliterated you. Rinse and repeat. It also had insane health and defense, and there were lots of versions of it... _________________

You know, I've seen a lot of things. But a 10 ton behemoth of metal, powered by a race of beings made of pure energy that are completely genocidal to all other things in the universe was never one of them. Now I can say that, I have in fact, seen it all. |

Oh, yeah! I managed to kill one once though. I forget how though. Took a long time though.
Most of the ordinary enemies from SMT: Persona are capable of killing you. Since the 'Escape' function never, ever works your only way of trying to avoid fighting if you're beat up is to try and talk to the enemy and that might piss them off even more. |

Darknuts in the Legend of Zelda series.
The hardest I've faced were the Darknuts in Twilight Princess, and when you had to face 3 at a time in the bonus dungeon, that was crazy. _________________

Yeah, the whole series has normal enemies that can kill you but that game is the worst of the bunch. |

And the thing was Noir that the boss could wipe out your party in one hit lol. It was a must that you keep reverse, haste, bravery, bubble, and decoy on at least one or two if you are a badass. lol Never doing that fight ever again. Never felt like I accomplished so much in a game before. _________________ http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb369/Gethsemane23/YueSigstaklsdfj.jpg

Oh you can add Berserk to that list too
Even at 99 for the party, it was hard as shiggity. I remember it killed me once when I was like three hours into the fight. I got pissed and dropped the game for like a month. lol picked it up again and did it on the first try after like a whole night of fighting.
Probably one of the few games where I actually played it after I finished it for all the extra shiggity. _________________ http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb369/Gethsemane23/YueSigstaklsdfj.jpg

The freaking helghast. In no other game that I've played have I faced an enemy who can take a whole clip to the face and still scream ADVANCE!!!. It's as if they eat bullets and breath fire. _________________

The hardest common enemy I have ever faced is the common religious man/woman. You encounter these enemies in Life. They are hard because:
-They always believe their way is the right way, but never have a good idea of what that right way is; so deciding what element they are weak to is tough.
-Even if you ignore their prying move, they will continuously use harping which can inflict aggravation if you can't escape.
-They are everywhere! Not even FFX random encounters with pheromones activated (increases encounter rate) is this bad. _________________
