Thanks,

| I will just go and buy it wherever I can no matter who is releasing it. I did like Tokyo Pop but I guess we just have to go with who ever we can for now. |

Wait TokyoPop is no more?! (Lives in a bubble). I guess I'll be reading a lot more manga in languages I only semi-understand, Thai and Spanish. _________________

I would die because most of the manga I read, I get from the local library. And most of the manga at the local library is Tokyopop

Fortunately, most of the manga I've read/still read come from either Viz or Dark Horse, and I'm pretty slim on manga these days anyway, so it won't affect me. _________________

I'm all over the place with my manga, so TokyoPop being gone sucks as I was collecting DN Angel and a couple other series that TokyoPop was translating.
Until these manga are picked up by other distributors, I'll have to resort to scans until the new volumes are available through another distributor. (not that im condoning illegal activity here <_<) _________________

I never bought from Tokyopop in the first place so it doesn't affect me, although it does concern me for the companies that I do buy from. _________________

Luckily, I was only following a handful of ongoing series that they published, the rest are all by Viz, Yen Press, and Dark Horse. However, it is sad to see a North American manga publisher shut down. But otherwise, Manga-Updates keeps me... informed _________________

I really hope this doesn't affect the rest of the market; the anime market that is. I don't read much manga, close to none, but I'd still hate to see somewhat good companies go. Reminds me of Toonami. Sad face.jpg _________________

I think I'll live. Yeah, I own lots of TokyoPop titles, but since I mainly watch anime and read less manga, I think it won't affect me that much. _________________

You know, I've seen a lot of things. But a 10 ton behemoth of metal, powered by a race of beings made of pure energy that are completely genocidal to all other things in the universe was never one of them. Now I can say that, I have in fact, seen it all. |

What a shame (sigh)... Whatever. No loss to me because most of the manga I've read/still read came from other publishers like Viz and DelRey. _________________ "True Wisdom is knowing you know nothing." - Socrates, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure |

| It's unfortunate that we're losing such a big player. I guess there's still the material licensed by Viz. Maybe this will free up some time to catch up on some anime and video games. |

I don't read much manga and the bookstores where I live sell painfully little of it anyway.
If I really want to read a manga, I could read scanlations or hope TokyoPop didn't pick that one up. |

Well, I just switched to digital recently. I do not read physical books anymore. And so I'll read what I can find no matter who makes it. _________________ "You know what they say about meddling in the affairs of dragons?" |

| Well, I mostly watch anime, and I didn't read much Tokyopop so I will just buy a different manga from another company. |

The same as always, buy manga that i want, read manga as soon as it is out (scans) and buy it or get it form my library !!!
There is not a grate deal you can do, if the kindle had a manga service i would do that but at the moment i have to be a bit bad just so i can get it asap, but i do buy most manga i want to read. _________________
