From what I understand is that old forums code was so old, (8-10 years old by my guess) filled with porn/spam bots and unstable that Weltal decided to mercy kill it and restart from the ground up with new code, as I understand anyway, I could have a little/all of it wrong.

We tried to save the old forums. But they were beyond saving. Is even found a way to update them if only we could get them going. We tried everything. Resuscitation, transplantation, even a Frankenstein style monster. It was just dead.
