Anime Pulse

So in light of one of the more recent topics being about anime sequels we didn't want/like how about the opposite. Let's talk about follow-ups that we liked. (It doesn't have to be season if you're struggling. I'd say OVA and movies are applicable)

One that comes to mind for me is Infinite Stratos. I love the first season but I think the follow up of Infinite Stratos 2 was even better. I only wish there was more.

The second season of my youth romanitc comedy definitely lived up to my expectations. Other than that, would fate/zero count as a sequel/second season of the OG fate stay night?

I would say Dimension W, It really felt like there was suppose to be more going on, and then it just wraps up early.

There are a ton of anime series I’d like to see additional seasons of. A few come to mind immediately.

First, I and my kids have been waiting (and waiting) for another season of Ars Nova : Arpegio of Blue Steel,

And likewise, they always want more Girls Und Panzer (although I personally think that series has achieved its purposes — don’t tell them that!)

I personally enjoy the various Fate anime series, and will always watch one of those. Same goes for Ghost in the Shell.

And I want more Monogatari — I want to continue to follow Araragi (and the movies don’t cut it. A series, please, thank you.)

And more recently, we are waiting with baited breath for another season of Made in Abyss, DanMachi (not Oratorio) and Gate.

I can list shows for days, so I will stop here.
