Kuro-Hana Release

Synopsis:
Higuchi is in the car and thinks about what to do. He also talks about it to Rem, which is observed by Light and L. He decides after all to go to the manager office. There he writes down the fake name, but that is not recognized as the killing method by L. Only after Higuchi gets frustrated that Matsuda isn't dying he suspects it.

Higuchi strikes the eye-bargain with rem and moves to the Yotsuba offices to check the surveilance tapes, only to find Matsuda isn't on them any more. He the proceeds to Sakura TV where everything is evacuated. On the way he kills a Bike-Cop who pulled him over for speeding. At Sakura TV after he sees that the people on camera have been replaced by manekins, he gets cornered by Mogi, Wedy, Aiber and Yagami. He shoots at Wedy but Yagami jumps into the line of fire. He then makes a break for it, the quarted goes after him. Meanwhile Light, L and Watari are in a Chopper to take him down.

Higuchi runs into a road block that Ide and Aizawa (who were on the investigation team but left) errected. In his last attempt to flee, Watari takes out his tire with a sniper rifle. His suicide attempt is also stomped by Watari who shoots the gun out of his hand. The episode closes with Higuchi being cornered by police cars.
