Ok, here we go. Submit your designs for an Anime Pulse poster. Only one real rule, no copyrighted images, so the AP logo is fine, plus any fanart you want to add to make a badass poster.

I will leave the submission window open for a few weeks, so you have time to do something really good.

Image format should be png and be as high of resolution/DPI as possible so we can get good prints made.

All submissions become the property of Anime Pulse. The person who submits a design that we print will receive credit for it and get the first print free, signed by the staff if you wish.

Just so everyone knows by high res he means atleast 300dpi and make it 10in x 10in if that's how big you want the poster. 10in should be 3000pixels if that didn't translate. 10in is a little small for a poster it's just an example. so 48in x 24in at 300dpi is ........ 14400 pixels by 7200 pixels. it's important that is is that high quality if you want it to look good. higher res will of course be allowed but that's kinda of a printing minimum.

A couple notes:
1) Standard poster sizes are 18x24in and 24X36in. It is very likely that non-standard sizes will cost extra to print.

2)The general intention of this is to allow the artists out there to create something. As such, fanart is strongly suggested.

just design what ever you like and we can make it work. The only thing I can't do is make it a higher res. it has to be of high enough quality to begin with.

I think Ichigo might need to leave this competition a bit longer than a few weeks our artists hasn't been online much.

Yeah I know I haven't been on in a while but I'm going to take a crack at it.
I hand draw my pics and the only problem I can see is resizing the image but I'm sure I can manage that.
Just one question, if we're doing fanart, what kind of copyright stuff do we need to put on the poster, etc, etc?

I'm not sure on the legality, but I believe if it's wholly fanart, and you're not using any images from anywhere, it should be fine.

If the image is copyrighted at and we sell posters of it for money then It's not legal. fanart for the most part is legal.
