Anno Domini High Definition - Riverside
Latest release by this incredible band from Poland. Still retaining the dreamy qualities of the previous albums, this one also ramps up the aggression and energy. The theme of the songs concerns the mad race of our technological society, where something brand new can be seen as obsolete the very next day. _________________

Well, I've been listening to a loooot of Hirano Aya's "Speed Star" album lately. I'd say between that and Glee (don't kill me, not in the mood for murder at the moment), it's definitely my most listened to.
Plus, she's sosososoosososooo adorable. x3 _________________ (¯`'•.¸(¯`'•.¸*♫♪♫♪*¸.•'´¯)¸.• '´¯)

Machine Head: The Blackening
The Blackening redefines metal as we know it for the modern age. This album is the dark, evil spawn of thrash, prog, hardcore, and technical metal all blended perfectly into an opus of pure metal. The Blackening truly has it all: precision drumming, well-crafted bass lines, unique riffs, brain-melting solos, diverse vocal patterns, and thought-provoking lyrics. Critics have given this album every possible accolade in the books, short of a Grammy award, and those accolades are well-deserved. The Blackening is easily one of the best albums in metal history _________________ I used to have a cool picture |

Warning by Green Day
Probably my favorite album by them, much better than the two albums they released after it. _________________

Hordes of Chaos by Kreator
At this point in time, America’s Big 4 have got nothing on Germany’s Big 3, and if anyone still has lingering doubts about that, Kreator put those doubts to rest with one of the best thrash albums in recent memory. Slayer and Megadeth don’t slouch on their new albums by any sense, but even their renewed metal senses can’t top Kreator’s consistency. _________________ I used to have a cool picture |

Stand up and scream by Asking Alexandria
It has a little bit of everything breakdowns, death metal vocals, soft vocals, metalcore vocals, techno, metal techno fusion, and i think there was a violin in one of the songs. its something worth checking out though _________________

At the Edge of Time - Blind Guardian
Latest from German metal masters. The previous album, A Twist in the Myth, was a bit lacking, but this one returns to form and comes close to rivaling their masterpiece A Night at the Opera.
A nice mix of their various styles, from heavy shredding to ballads to symphonic epics. Every track is perfect. Standouts include: Sacred Worlds, Valkyries, A Voice in the Dark, and Wheel of Time. _________________

UNIVERSE - Koda Kumi
It was packaged with her 3rd best album. I love most of the songs on this album and the other tracks are pretty decent, unlike the previous album "Trick" which had songs on it that should have never been created. _________________

Demons and Wizards by Demons and Wizards
Their first album. Kinda of a supergroup consisting of Hans from Blind Guardian, and the rest of the band is Iced Earth minus whatever singer they had then. Hearing Iced Earth's crunchy sound contrasting with Han's awesome singing voice is quite a treat. I especially love the track "The Whistler" it gives chills, especially Hans voice. It's a twisted take on the pied piper story |

Over The Underworld - Odd Logic
New album from Sean Thompson, master of the one-man-band. Writing the music and playing all instruments, with help from family and friends, he puts together amazing and epic rock operas.
Over The Underworld is directly inspired by the 2003 film Underworld, and the album has been constructed to specifically sync with the film to create an entirely new experience. _________________

Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt OST
Just about every song on this album is pure win. I can't find many albums that do that. Well there is the .hack//sign album but I'm talking about Panty and Stocking atm.

at the moment, it has to be Speed of Darkness by Flogging Molly. I've been waiting for it to be released since they came to Atlanta last February _________________ In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the

Arrows & Anchors - Fair To Midland
Latest from this Texas 5-piece that defies genres. Another great album filled with hard rocking songs and cryptic lyrics.
More bands should be like this, and I don't mean being a copy-cat or cookie cutter, I mean more bands should follow the example of doing their own thing and being hard to define. That's when you get the purest music. _________________

Blood, Brain, and Rock n' Roll by Zombie Girl.
Honestly, some of the best electronic/ industrial rock I have heard in a long time. _________________

You know, I've seen a lot of things. But a 10 ton behemoth of metal, powered by a race of beings made of pure energy that are completely genocidal to all other things in the universe was never one of them. Now I can say that, I have in fact, seen it all. |

Before These Crowded Streets by the Dave Matthews Band
DMB is a rock/jazz/soul/hip-hop type group. It's very hard to fit them into one category, because each song has it's own little twist to it. If I were to choose a few songs to get someone into them, I would have to say Stay(Wasting Time), Don't Drink the Water, and Spoon(my favorite song on the album) _________________
