I like Naruto (a little) but i could do without the fillers. But really, what's so wrong about them?

They kind of did grow a bond that wasn't spoken of during the series, and then to lose a friend like that? I think you'd be a little pissed at the people trying to stop you from seeing him again.

The point is he was finally excepted as an equal to Sasuke and they were friends and stuff. No one likes to lose someone or something they care about...

In my humble opinion you are all speaking BLASPHAME!!!! Ok now that i have that out of the way i just need to point out i only read the first 2 manga then started to watch the serries and was hooked. I did get tired of the fillers but i never concidered it a reason to give up on naruto at all.

Depends on if they are talking about something important or something stupid to me. If it's interesting, I'd sit there for an hour or so.

Since Naruto Shippuden has been out for a while, I think it's now time to ask...

Is Naruto Shippuden a waste of time?

I have seen some people post in other forums that Shippuden is not worth watching and that the first series is way better. I do not agree with this viewpoint, but considering they are two different series, it's about time to ask that question.

Personally, I think that Naruto Shippuuden is better then the original series. The characters are more mature so, it's less "OMGEZ!! Sasuke is such a hottie!!" which is really nice. The characters are more powerful and have a goal in mind. There is no more of running around, but then again, that was mostly fillers.
In the Shippuuden, we haven't seen any fillers (I think...I haven't been watching closely)so that could hacve something to do with why I like it so far.

I am still watching it, but I just hope ist getting better, Shippundoo(or something) is okay but I hope they are coming there were the manga is now.
Thats the only reason i watch this.

I would have to say the second part as well. Everyone isn't a stupid kid (except Naruto). They know what they are suppose to do on missions now and not be idiots. I am enjoying it as of now.

I agree that the fillers do get annoying and alot of the fights take to long. But shappuden is doing alot better than the first season big time.

With me i didnt read the manga so the serries wasnt so bad. I do agree some of the eps could have been done alot better or we could have gone without.
but in the end it was still an over all enjoyable serries.

NAruto is a long story, sometimes it gets bored but some scene may energize your watching appetite again. MAny people are trying to discuss NAruto so that they can understand and they will be informed about the current events in the series and the next episodes.

I thought the original story arcs were good... but I lost interest around the Chuunin exams. It was around then that I started getting the impression that it was just another generic shounen show.

Also, I hate Naruto (the character). for one thing, he is basically just shounen hero #6752 (or something like that). And he screams. yeah.

But I think it simply hit rock-bottom when we got to Shippuden. any creativity that it ever had was lost, and I think that is really a shame.

Naruto Anime =

BAD POINTS
- Too many fillers
- Has a crappy english dub (a minus because you get freaking seven year olds saying they watch naruto but dont have a goddamn idea of the show)
- Bad quality (at times)
- On average, bad translation (of manga into anime, not language)
- Not enough good points

GOOD POINTS
+ Good fight scenes
+ nothing else...

Naruto Manga =

BAD POINTS
- Nothing (?)

GOOD POINTS
+ No filler
+ Great quality fan-scanalations (binktopia/mangastream)
+ The most orginial version of Naruto
+ No bad points

for these reaons, ive abandoned the anime and am now on the manga.[/b]

I watched the first 8 episodes something like 4 or 5 years ago, then gave up. I won't say it was pointless, I just found some of the characters to be really annoying, funnily enough not Naruto himself.
