Anime Pulse

Kind of an old staple in anime where a character has to shout the name of their attack, so today I ask what are your favourite named and EXCLAIMED anime attack.

I can name several, but one in particular came to mind and stuck there once again very recently.

The character Archer in the Fate/Stay Night series (various) has an ultimate attack (known as a Noble Phantasm in the show's parlance) that he simply calls "Unlimited Bladeworks" but which has a much, much longer invocation:

I am the bone of my sword
Steel is my body and fire is my blood
I have created over a thousand blades
Unaware of loss, Nor aware of gain
Withstood pain to create weapons,
Waiting for ones arrival
I have no regrets. This is the only path
My whole life was Unlimited Blade Works.

I'm going to go with a classic. The Shining Finger by Domon in G Gundam, with the saxphone playing when he's about to pull it off makes the attack go from cool to pure awesome. Yea people say that the dub is cheesy but it really does bring the whole thing together. "This hand of mine glows with an awesome POWER! Its burning grip tells me to defeat you! Take this! My love, my anger, and all of my sorrow! SHINING FINGER!!!"

There are so many, and they are so varied it's hard to choose one favorite. The Spirit Gun from Yu Yu Hakusho is my favorite offensive attack. But I can't forget the best fake attack, One Thousand Years of Death from Naruto
