Anime Pulse

Anime watchers can be quite the characters sometimes. So today please share some funny stories of encounters/interactions you've had with other anime fans either in real life or online.

I can't think of any stories off hand, since its been a number of years now since I went to Animazement, or some other convention or any other venue where I would have interacted with other anime fans in person. I will say that I have raised my sons to become bona fide otaku anime fans, such that their attention to things Touhou, Haruhi, Shinkai or other esoteric anime topics has me wondering whether I should be proud, embarassed or feeling that I should apologize to them profusely for how I've raised them.
Perhaps equal measures of all three, I think.
