Alright then so in typical levels of creative genius that is, the AP show topic how about we just take last week's question and flip around. Name some of the most sympathetic protagonists in anime.


NOTE: The protagonist is the main character which means you don't have to pick a hero, or someone morally righteous etc. Just clearing some confusion from last week

I'm surprised no one mentioned Edward and Alphonse from Fullmetal Alchemist. Yes while they did do the unspeakable taboo, it's not that hard to see why especially when their father was gone and they really had nothing else, and then on top of that to pay the price and live some hard lives after that even while working for the military and becoming child soldiers. It's not that hard to feel sympathy for them.
