An anime I'm thankful for is Maburaho. Yeah it's a trashy low brow harem anime, a guilty pleasure for me easily. But it was around during the time that some of us old timers called the dark ages of anime. Where most avid anime watchers would try to get their hands on any enemy they could find that wasn't on their television. So I'm thankful for that, otherwise I probably wouldn't be watching anime today.
