Hello, 2023 approaches! So in the lead up let's do our annual celebration of the best anime YOU watched in 2022. Reminder: It doesn't have to have released in 2022.

Raven of the Inner Palace was definitely a sleeper hit for me. The anime may come off as a generic by the numbers one, however what makes it stand out is its character dialogue, personal intrigue and it's use of old Asian style drawing when telling back stories. I like how in-depth and personal the story is, instead of how wide spanning it could have been.
