What are some of the Best and Worst flash backs in Anime? NOT prequels or side-stories but in-season flash backs we may or may not have already seen.

I'm going to take a page from the DBZ fans and pick Jiren's backstory. From the first time we see him, Jiren radiates strength and coldness. Watchers can easily see how intimidating a foe he will be for Goku and the others, but then we get his backstory and not only is it generic it's just really doesn't make any sense for his ideology. Because of what happens to him Jiren believes that only might makes right, only to learn that this has turned him into a raging manchild, doing underhanded things to win.
