My hot take is that Neo Yokio is a good anime. 
While Jaden Smith is certainly quite a person himself, his characteristics serves perfectly for an emo/edgy anime protagonist. The series really reminds me of the 90's time of dub anime, and while most gatekeepers will look upon that era with distain, it is a big staring point for dubbing.

now when I got 1st into anime my hot take was the saga spike vs Vicious of cowboy bebop or in Trigun over ndww ( NicholasDWolfwood) just shooting the bad guys without remorse
