Summer’s coming to a close. Labor day has passed and that means the days are starting to turn. That also means our convention has come and gone. With that in the mirror that alsom means it’s time to review grab bag manga. This ensures that we really get garbage to comb through without effort.
Up first is time with Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs. We meet Koragashi, a psychic who punches ghosts as exorcism. He’s been invited to a run down hot spring hotel haunted by Yuuna and occupied by a bunch of monster girls. We should mention this is Seven Seas “Ghost Ship” imprint who’s motto is “we bring the booty”. So there’s quite a bit of cheesecake and fan service. It gets a Borders.
Weltall then has Happy Sugar Life. With such a saccharine title, you can be assured you are in for some Happy Tree Friends. It starts off with Sato, a high school girl, caring for an elementary school girl Shiro. Things go from creepy to worse when it’s implied these two are in a relationship and that’s not the worst thing the other characters in this manga do. It gets a Read It Now.
