Then in the industry news a big Chinese company owns a decent percentage of a Japanese publishing company, and the event organizers are asking otakus to get in shape for the upcoming return of Comiket. Lastly we have another round of previews with Joseph helping his tiny office kohai earn 100 friends, and a vampiric Andrew dies very easily on his way to outer space.

Episode 724: Fall 2021 Previews #2

This week on Anime Pulse we got people complaining about the obvious, our favorite weapons in anime, and blue robots. Up first Andrew regales us with his time in Scotland for Scot Loves Anime, and Joseph goes contactless. Then in the industry news Demon Slayer draws some obvious criticisms but goes uncensored, and ComicCon decides that going unvaccinated is fine by them. Episode 723: Fall 2021 Previews #1

This week on Anime Pulse we got pink gorillas, community hype for the Fall season, and the possibility a war on love raged on for over 5 years will end. Up First is IRL news with Joseph walking the opposite direction for ten miles, and Andrew talks about his upcoming Scott Loves Anime trip. Then in the industry news Ranma 1/2’s creator is being inducted into a hall of fame, a man enters a burning building with the power of anime on his side, and the new Japanese Prime Minister earns some brownie points with the minimum wage workers. Lastly the previews make a return as Joseph eats some fruit of evolution and is reincarnated in another world as an assassin, meanwhile Andrew plays a Biwa while ignoring ghosts.

Episode 722: The Duke of Marshmallow and His Maid

This week on Anime Pulse we got nearly walking 10K just because, potentially witnessing the end of a sporting era, and roasting chubby marshmallows over an office lady. Up first Joseph continues his Skyrim efforts to finish that game, and Andrew changes gears from older brothers in anime to younger ones. Then in the industry news Joseph takes a back seat as Andrew talks about an ultimate fighter with a love for anime, and a very large man decides to step out of the lime light. Up first Joseph’s wallet is taking a beating from all these emergency expenses to keep him income flowing, and Andrew is looking into the best non-romantic duos in anime. Then in the industry news a man is reincarnated as a sword in another world, and some Feminists got angry they weren’t hired to be the actor in a traffic PSA. Lastly the reviews have Joseph going back to demon school to decide on best girl, and Andrew puts on his horse jocky outfit, grabs a riding crop, and climbs onto an anthropomorphic horse girl.

This week on Anime Pulse we got a new Pokemon League champion, breaking ground on the very first high school level manga studies department, and having the cutest girl in school recruit you into a game club. Up first IRL news as Joseph breaks out his Fus Ro Dah as he returns to the land of Skyrim, and Andrew is checking out the best anime that no one watched because other anime blotted them out like arrows in the sun. Then in the industry news only a couple topics this week, as Good Smile comes under fire and a high school breaks out the ancient tomes of One Piece to learn their history. And finally in the reviews Joseph avoids being arrested after taking in a high school runaway, and Andrew is a true gamer who joins a gaming club to play games.

Episode 719: Don’t Toy with Me, Takagi-san

This week on Anime Pulse we got a double dose of teasing girls, swimming across the ocean, and working to be the very best that no one ever was. Episode 716: Gunbuster Will Be Dispatched

This week on Anime Pulse we got one less reason to visit Japan, invaders attempting to take over an Isekai, and super hype for future FGO events. Up first is the IRL news with Joseph gushing about the Japanese released FGO events for Camelot and more recent ones, and Andrew is sending the FBI home with his inquiry into favorite Onee-sans in anime. Then in the industry news Sony seals the deal on their purchase of Funimation, and otakus infiltrate top Olympic sports just so they can do cool poses. And lastly we return to reviews as Joseph is sent to another world by his evil sexy bosses along with a loli android, and Andrew gets retro with a look back at what inspired him to become a cute humanoid-robot pilot to fight space monsters.

Episode 715: Summer 2021 Previews #5

This week on Anime Pulse we got the return of a long thought dead Crunchyroll original, COVID shots, and five episodes of exposition. Up first Joseph is a bit lonely and stressed out so his body decided to break a little, and Andrew asked us before what the best anime adaptations of games were now he wants to know what the worst ones are. Then in the industry news we got topics like when a cosplayer shows more skin than the character in the series does, and another Goo Rankings poll for most entertaining Shonen series. Then in our FINAL previews episode for the summer season, yes, were sure this time, the great Joseph is forced to work at a bar after being defeated by a slime, and Andrew survives Would War 3 only to enter a battle royal with gods.
