Jack Quaid plays a man who has Congenital Insensitivity to Pain. He also works as an assistance manager in a bank. He lives a very boring life until runs into Amber Midthunder who awakens the trouser beast. Also she makes him eat pie before riding him like Seabiscuit. She then gets kidnapped by bank robbers which sets him on a journey to track her down and rescue her.
Weltall then has Kiss of the Dragon[2001]. Jet Li in those heady days of Hong Kong actors crossing over into Western film. He’s a cop and he’s being framed for a crime he didn’t commit. This means he has to run around punching and kicking people to prove his innocence. Along with the help of a prostitute with a heart of silver, I think.
Tim has Bodies Bodies Bodies[2022]. It’s about a group of the youths getting together in a mansion to party while a hurricane passes over Florida. When Pete Davidson dies, the rest of them are set on finding out who among them is a killer. Which is made way more painful but the therapy speak that comes along with the Hollywood portrayal of the “youth”.
