This must be the fake movie phone episode. What with the five five five starting us off. Does Hollywood even bother with that anymore? If not, it’s now ours. And we’ll make loads of disgusting lucre, we’re talking hundreds of yen per year, to license it out. Why we’ll be able to retire or at least die. Either way we have some manga reviews.
Tim starts us off with Hooligan’s. This has nothing to do with either ne’er do wells nor with unruly soccer fans. It’s about alchemy in a vague Victorian-esque era. That’s also three hundred years after the discovery of alchemy. There’s a group of supreme alchemists who are called sorcerers and they’re all out to find the ash of Hermes. It gets a Burn It.
Weltall then has Boy’s Abyss. We have Reiji and he’s rather pathetic. He lives in a small town, his mom spends all her time taking care of grandma, and his brother is a shut in. He runs into a girl working at a convenience store he recognizes as an idol, has a smoke with her, and they got back to her place and have sex. Things get a little awkward when he meets her husband in the morning. We don’t’ want to spoil too much if you’re interested but it gets a Read It Now.
