Welcome to our fishery. Old Two Cut Tuna. Named because we always take two slices out for ourselves. It’s a tradition we started since we did manga reviews. At least that’s what we’d like to be called if we did guided fishing tours. Having seen the cost of boats and fuel, we’ll stick to manga reviews. With that, we have two like we often do.
First up is Tim with XoGenasys. It’s the future and Darisu Smith is a kid in the future. He fights with other school kids and has a sister. His fighting prowess gets the attention of the people that run cyborg gladiator fights. It’s his ticket out of what we’re told is the bad part of town or at least the not as nice part of town. You can tell it’s bad because there are bullies with asymmetric haircuts. It gets a Crackers.
Weltall has Try Again. Danielle is a hitwoman. Or maybe hitmen depending on what description you find for it. She’s renowned at least until the moment she dies. Normally that puts a cap on a career, even one that specializes in dealing death. Things change when you catch the eye of a god of sorts who decides you’re going to get brought back to life and work for them, So now Danielle is functionally immortal and has to kill people her patron wants dead. It gets a Crackers.
