Episode 845: My Jobless Story with Reincarnation-kun

This week on Anime Pulse we got to pay our respects to the passing of a legend, eating Yuca, and level 999 love stories. Up first Joseph wanders around for seven miles looking for food, and Andrew is peaking into our music folders for non-OP and non-ED anime music. Then in the industry news we of course talk about how impactful the passing of the Dragon Ball creator has been, and a dumb kid gave away most of his savings to bullies and scammers. And finally in the reviews Joseph goes on a quest to find his mom and cure his ED, and a jaded Andrew log on to an MMO to begin a romance with a guildmate to get back at a former lover.

High-low! It’s Andrew (just me) with a (mostly) solo episode of Anime Pulse. This week we got best original animes, a potential light at the end of the tunnel for one delayed show and some chunky cool new mechas. Then on the gatai segment Joseph goes to Isekai Fantasy school with a lovable Saint while Andrew makes the worst rental of his life (no refunds).

P.s I also get pretty drunk by the end but I have edited out the long pauses for an improved experience…

This week on Anime Pulse we got Himalayan burgers, magical courtrooms, and technical difficulties in multiplayer. Up first is the usual IRL news as Joseph has finally moved forward in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and Andrew asks us for our top wizards/mages in anime. Then in the industry news it’s a solo helping from Joseph, as he wishes his digestive system was 10 years younger so he could partake of a stupid large burger. Finally in the tail end of the show the reviews wrap things up with Joseph revealing the true anime of year from 2021, and Andrew represents two separate yet equally important groups: The police, who investigate magical crime, and the district attorneys, who prosecute the wizards.

Then in the industry news we’re seeing one topic about the worrying statistic about Japan’s dwindling youth, and that’s it, because news is kind of barebones this week. Lastly is our final previews dedicated show as Joseph continues his reincarnated job as a master thief, and Andrew is suddenly surrounded by beautiful office ladies with very large breasts.
