  1. Excellent! I was hoping you’d do a show like this. I decided to go ahead and try watching at least the first few episodes of each new series this fall, but I soon realized- that’s a lot of episodes to watch- An entire-series length worth of pilots.

  2. Japanese keitei sound a lot like the iPhone 3G. The iPhone has much the same ‘find what’s around me’ GPS type functionality, but you do get the benefit of the amazing mobile Safari web browser and beautiful Apple interface. From what I’ve seen of Japanese phones the interfaces are rather ugly and clunky looking. I do like how talking on a mobile phone is banned on Japanese trains though.

    When I was last in Japan the iPhone 3G had just launched, and there seemed to be a lot of interest in it. Do you ever see people around Japan using iPhones? They’re everywhere where I am in the UK.
