Let’s start off with a joke. What comes after sunset? Knight time! What better way to segue into the movie we have. It’s all about knights but not the last one. Also it’s a tale about a knight but not a knight’s tale. It’s about the last ones, the Last Knights[2015], if you will. There was no more after this. They were all clearanced out and we moved on to things like surfers.
So Clive Owen is a knight and he serves Morgan Freeman. They’re both under an Emperor and there’s an evil finance man who hates them. Freeman says something mean to the Emperor and gets executed. Then Financier man is paranoid that Clive Owen will come for revenge. Spoilers, Clive Owen does go for revenge.
Weltall then has The Station Agent[2003]. Peter Dinklage is a dude who moves to New Jersey. So you know he’s mentally stable. Just like the people he meets in the butt end of the state well away from the New Yorkers who can’t quite afford to live in the city but they also like to ruin the cost of living for the folks in NJ. This is very much the kind of “quirky” movie that two thousands film critics swooned over.
Tim then has Gunrush[2009]. Peter Petigrew moved on after Voldemort, had a family, and works as a driving instructor. He’s a boring pushover that has a boring day to day until one of his daughters is murdered in front of the rest of the family. He’s out for revenge in the way only an Anglo could pursue. By pestering the local bobbies and looking at pictures on the internet.
