Tim has The Ending, I Want to Change It. We start with a Korean author who is a bestseller. She’s on the phone with her agent or publisher who’s asking Author how her work is going and why all her books are sad. Author lady says she just can’t help it and people like tragedy anyway. An off panel voice whispers that she’s going to get it now before she wakes up in the story she’s working on. She’s in the body of the girl who dies because she provokes a lovesick girl into murder. So now Author lady has motive to want a different outcome. It gets Burn It.
Weltall has Juvenile Law. We start off with a kid code named Sean who’s an orphan. That’s ok because he’s living in an orphanage where kids are trained as assassins. Then they’re sold off to the rich and powerful as protection. The kids are also brainwashed to look to their charge as a parent. Sean goes off with his new owner, the owner dies, and now he’s free. He grows up in South Korea ends up somewhat adopting his friends mom, and then getting attacked by the assassin organization. It gets a Borders.
