Have you ever been to Stapleton Airport? It’s okay if you haven’t, it was the major Denver airport until the Illuminati decided their meeting halls weren’t big enough. Unless you’re local to our area, the only thing you might have heard that name was in the trivia of filming locations for a certain sequel. That’s right, we’re doing Die Hard 2(1990).
John McClane is back and this time he’s on vacation. The kids are with the in-laws and he’s picking Holly up from their airport around DC. John being John witnesses some sketchy men sneaking a gun through the metal detectors. Which leads to a protracted fight in the emptiest luggage sorting facility any airport has every seen. This means that a bigger contingent of bad guys on the way and villainous plans coming together.
Weltall has The Day of the Jackal[2024]. It’s a series based roughly off the seventies film of the same name. There’s a bit of cat and mouse between MI6 and the titular Jackal. With the Jackal, played by Eddie Redmayne, trying to keep his life as an assassin separate from his family as he’s hunted. Lashana Lynch plays the MI6 weapons specialist who becomes involved as his weapon is unique and gives a lead.
Tim has Black Death[2010]. Funnily enough, it is also an Eddie Redmayne film. It’s in England at the outbreak of the plague. There’s a report of a village which hasn’t been touched by it and Sean Bean is out to investigate this potential witchcraft. Eddie is heading there because he’s a bit of a rule breaking friar and wants to bone his lady who’s hiding in the area. Also, Sean Bean dies.
