Manga Pulse 537: Titsa Cursin

You might find leprechauns ridiculous and unbelievable. Little gnomish folk with magical powers that hide gold at the end of rainbows? Dismissed with prejudice, you would say. Just as you might dismiss that we would do another manga episode. Yet here we are, in all our glory. So if we can come through, who is to say, truly, that you will never see a lookalike that could hawk you a sugary cereal product in person? You won’t but as a wise bard once sang, don’t stop believing.

Tim has Can’t Stop Cursing You. There’s a bunch of curse gods and they like to make deals with mortals. One unnamed curse god makes a deal with a high school kid to kill whoever he wants but he has to kill thirty people in thirty days. Unfortunately for him, one of the teachers is a curse breaker and great at tracking down the culprits. And yes it does almost resemble Death Note if you decided that was far too cerebral and slow. It gets a Borders.

Weltall has Tista. The titular Tista Rockwell is a girl and an assassin. This means she has magic gun-fu eyes that activate when shooting. She works for a religious organization until she meets Art boy. Then she realizes that her religious org is actually bad. Which is a twist only banana slugs didn’t see coming. It gets a Borders in spite of the assembled tropes.
