Keanu Reeves is a nuero scientist working for BioEvilCorp. They’re experimenting on transferring the consciousnesses from dead soldiers into a robot that’s their base model. This experiment isn’t going so well as they keep trying to force a shutdown upon waking up. Lucky for Keanu, his family dies and he has to practice copying their memories from their corpses into clone bodies. If he can solve one, he can solve the other and his evil boss will be sure to give him a promotion right to the grave.
Tim then has The Fix[2024]. It’s a South African film about pollution killing everyone and a pharmaceutical company selling a treatment. The problem is this treatment is derived from a single species of dragonfly that’s being wiped out. So some plucky genetic scientist decides to splice dragonfly dna into people. This is dumber than it you can imagine.
Weltall has The Shadow’s Edge[2025]. Jackie Chan is back, sort of. He’s a retired cop in China. The local cops are trying to track some robbers who have a hacker buddy fucking with their AI crime system. So they figure they need the best of the best that used to do it the hard way before new fangled computers. Which is where they go and tap Jackie so he can do some Jackie Chan stuff for our amusement.
