It’s officially Fall. It’s still pretty warm around us, hitting the high eighties and low nineties. But we’re seeing the leaves change and hoodies come out of storage. Which can only mean we need to be on the look out for the pumpkin spiced liquor of some kind. As is our tradition. Worst case we get pumpkin spice vodka and have fall shots. In the meanwhile, we have a pair of manga.
First up is Tim with a mouthful of a title. It’s Not My Fault That I’m Not Popular! This is apparently a revisit from way back when. As a reminder we have our girl Kuroki, who we start with wrapping up her middle school years imagining she’s going to be really popular in high school. This goes as well as you can expect from someone who’s a barely functioning otaku that plays video games deep into the night and barely talks to anyone outside her brother. It gets a Borders (Revisit).
Weltall has a follow up of Super Ball Girls. By reading all of the currently US released volumes. We find out what happened to the poor stranger who was killed by one of the girls. A small group of “bad” ones have split off and decided to try and take over the world. Which leads to our protagonist and his harem forming a government sanctioned unit to hunt them down with chocolate firing weapons. It maintains the Crackers.
