On today’s episode of Anime Pulse we celebrate the 600th episode, and the 14th coming of our ancestral founder Ichigo. He joins Joseph and Andrew as they discuss what has been going on with Ichigo, as well as submitting the questions from our dear listeners for him to answer. We also talk about Ichigo the firefighter, what anime tropes you hate the most, and we even hear from our resident Southern Belle. No show will be held on Easter, but look forward to our return the week after where we’ll be covering the new anime of Spring 2019.

Episode 598: Ueno-San in Abyss

What happens when your family gets caught looking at child porn? What manga do otaku want to see adapted into anime? And can you win the heart of a man by inventing a way for him to drink your pee? All these questions and more are answered on this episode of Anime Pule. First up Joseph quickly jaunts through his week of IRL news, and Andrew asks us what conventions we would like to attend. The industry news brings us the manga artists who are against Japan’s latest attempts at preventing piracy, as well as a very lengthy ‘article’ written by a very ‘sane’ person about Vic Mignogna. After that lovey bit of news, Joseph rolls around naked in fluffy demons and Andrew goes from prostitution to bad ass cyborg in just a few days.

In the dark of the night, when criminals commit crimes, a shining light will pierce through and reveal the truths and that light is Anime Pulse. This week the guys talk about anime they are looking forward to, Apex Legends, and more news surrounding the Vic Mignogna controversy. First up Admiral Joseph breaks down Azur Lane for us, and Andrew wants to know what Western media we’d like to see animefied.
